John Griffiths, AM for Newport East, has congratulated Milton Infants School today for the magnificent Estyn inspection report that it has received. The Ringland school scored the top grade of “good with outstanding features” on all seven criteria it was inspected on, with “outstanding teaching evident in every class throughout the school.” Mr Griffiths said: “I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to all the staff, pupils, parents and governors of Milton Infants School for the glowing inspection report that it received. “The school is blessed with outstanding teaching, support and management offering a fantastic education to over 200 pupils. All groups of pupils, regardless of social, ethnic or linguistic background are making fantastic progress. It is the innovative and effective ways of dealing with the greatest challenges of society which truly impressed me. "
