City regeneration company Newport Unlimited has issued a detailed summary of progress on the main projects under way or planned for Newport over the next three years. The spring promises to be a busy period with work commencing on the Friars Walk and City Spires developments as well as work near the railway station to improve pedestrian and bus facilities. The University Campus also gets under way during this period.The Kingsway Car Park, key to improving accessibility to the City's new retail provision is due for completion by September 2008. The project plan includes reference to the Crindau gateway including new Sainsburys store with work expected to start later this year

REgenerationn? nevver have I come across such a mess. I had to laugh when they closed a lane on the roundabot for 6 weeks to install some traffic lights anywhere else in the UK that would be down in a week end but hey they are employing bob the builder to do it. Still at the rate they are going there will be no shops left in Newport as more and more people go else where
I do love the crazy road scheme I wonder where they found someone to come up with such a daft road layout.
