One person has been taken to hospital after a house fire in Liswerry, Newport. South Wales Fire Service crews were called to the semi-detached house in Moorland Park just before midnight on Wednesday. The property was severely damaged in the fire and the emergency services said the attic of the neighbouring house was also damaged. The condition of the injured person is not thought to be serious.
