At approximately 2.55am this morning Newport Police and the ambulance service were called to an address in Dewstow Street, Newport where a 27 year old woman was found to be deceased. A 25 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
NEWPORT CENTRE POOL MAINTENANCE WORKS
The swimming pool at Newport Centre will be closed on Saturday 17 May to Friday 23 May inclusive, for essential maintenance work to the pool plant. All other facilities at Newport Centre remain open to the public.Alternative swimming can be enjoyed at Newport International Sports Village, Bettws Leisure Centre and Lliswerry Leisure Centre.
