He pulled back into the main road without looking as I was passing. The bus was stationary and pulled into the Maindee bus stop located outside a pub called the Banc.

I was on the main road passing the bus as the driver pulled out. Lucky my reaction was very quick and seen the bus before he collided with me, I had to aggressively swerve out of the buses path which put me in the middle of the road. I then had to break so I didn’t collide with an on coming vehicle thus being outside the Godfrey Morgan Pub in Maindee.
I have returned to work still shaking from the incident, my heart is pounding and I am unable to focus on my job, I am very unnerved and affected by this incident. I am extremely angry at the driver responsible he could have collided with me and caused serve damage to my small car, I could have been seriously hurt, I could have been involved in a head on collision or worse still some one could have been killed.

I wish to make an official compliant about this driver as I have experienced this type of stupidity from other bus driver’s employed by Newport City Council and so have many of my friends, family and colleagues. The driver’s attitude was appalling; I was at the traffic lights following the area and took all the details that are below: I looked at the driver and he shrugged his shoulders at me, I wonder if he would have this light carefree attitude if a member of his family was killed by a motorist? This is not an isolated incident and occurs frequently. Please remind drivers that if they are indicating to come out that does not mean they have the right of way and can pull out- they must still look in mirrors and check their blind spot.

The driver was on route Ringland 8C The Registration number of the bus is YN53 GGU the incident occurred at 12.07

Please advise how this I go about making this complaint official, as I have said this has happened before and I want to prevent this happening to other road user or a child.SARAHhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09279881950795821403noreply@blogger.com
