Fare in Newport low ? You are joking arn't you. Fares are cheaper in the South East of England and services are much better.

Who in their right mind would come up with a scheme where instead of a Central Bus station buses stop all over the town ? Where this has been done elesewhere in the UK it has always lead to a decline in bus usage because of the difficulty it causes with changing buses.

As far as I know all the Bus Companies, the buses uses and even SWETA are opposed to it but hey what the hell. Newport Council and its corhorts Newport Unlimited will carry on regardless

At least they are getting better by sorting out the routes, hopefully improve the frequencys too.

The West Newport/ Vallesys buses moved from the bus station due to the redevelopment work which is going to take place...and it wasn't just newport transport who moved, stagecoach also did.

Plus fares in Newport are low.

It might be useful if proper information & timetables were available instad of the almost zero publicty and information.
It seems the norm with Newport Transport to go with their dreadful services they provide dreadfully inadequate information.
THe same mess occured with the bus station changes which is another retrograde step with bus now departing from all over the town. Very useful when you want to change buses or if you have a choice of more then 1 bus.

My understanding is this is another planing mess up with the new bus station being far to small. Great planning yet again and you seriously want to get people to use Publi Transport ?

You have not a hope in hell with this sort of thing and the bad services Newport Transport provide.
That company has not a clue.
